Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Manager to lead the execution of mechanical and HVAC construction projects for commercial facilities. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and client communications, balancing multiple priorities to meet schedule and budget targets.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial HVAC or construction management, strong communication skills, and experience with project controls.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience managing commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, or construction projects.
• Ability to oversee budgets, schedules, and customer deliverables with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of project controls, contract administration, and construction management best practices.
• Experience coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of construction drawings and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Develop execution plans, timelines, staffing, and budget forecasts.
• Monitor profitability through cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Coordinate procurement and deliveries to support project schedules.
• Act as primary contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Lead review meetings and communicate progress, risks, and action plans.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and contract requirements.
• Administer RFIs, submittals, change requests, and project records.
• Manage subcontractor performance and maintain quality and schedule.
