Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Charlotte, NC office to lead HVAC and plumbing design efforts. You will ensure code compliance, manage budgets, and work with the construction administration team to develop project work.

The role includes selecting equipment and preparing contractor RFPs while representing the firm in meetings and building customer relationships. The ideal candidate has a 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, 3-5 years in commercial

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing design.
• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• PE license highly desirable.
• Ability to travel 30%.

• Ensuring HVAC and plumbing meets code and budget requirements
