Job description

Main Duties include, but are not limited to, locating & diagnosing problems with existing equipment. Conduct warranty and maintenance work, and perform regular service tasks. All work should be tracked and documented, including gathering purchase orders and traveling to customer sites.

Secondary duties include training apprentices, communicating with customers, and assisting in ordering materials and parts.

Requirements:

• Ability to carry and climb a ladder up to 28’
• Sit and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift weights of up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver’s License
• EPA license
• OSHA 10 certification minimum
• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience, including split systems, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, RTUs, etc.
• Ability to draw duct transitions for retrofits
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial and/or industrial HVAC systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform service and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems such as chillers, DX equipment, boilers, fan systems, refrigeration, and basic controls
