Job summary

Spurk HVAC is seeking skilled Commercial HVAC Installers at mid-level and lead levels to support our growing field operations in Pittsburgh. This role offers hands-on installation of commercial systems and the opportunity to lead on job sites, coordinating with trades to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial HVAC, strong blueprint skills, and leadership aptitude.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience (5+ years for lead-level).
• EPA 608 Certification required (or willingness to obtain for mid-level).
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history and ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, mount, and secure HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and controls in commercial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings and job specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to maintain project timelines.
• Perform system start-ups, testing, and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain compliance with local codes, OSHA standards, and safety policies.
• Lead installation crews on projects, oversee jobsite execution, mentor juniors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
