Glacier HVAC/R is seeking a Commercial HVAC Installer to lead heavy commercial systems across Yellowstone-region projects. You’ll install, align, and commission boilers, chillers, and rooftop units while upholding high standards of safety and craftsmanship.

With 3 years in the field and a Journeyman license preferred, you’ll thrive in a role that values independence, problem-solving, and delivering reliable, year‑round service on long-term contracts.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on commercial HVAC/R installation and service experience.
• Journeyman HVAC license preferred or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Certification required; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex installs of commercial HVAC/R systems including boilers and chillers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues on projects.
• Read and execute blueprints, piping schematics, and wiring diagrams with precision.
• Ensure work meets local codes and company quality standards.
• On-site leadership guiding junior installers and coordinating with facilities.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:

As a Commercial HVAC Installer, you will take ownership of commercial and light residential installations, overhauls, and retrofits across the Yellowstone region.

• Lead Complex Installs: Install, align, and commission commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems—including chillers, heat pumps, boilers, hydronic heating loops, and rooftop units.

• Troubleshoot & Diagnose: Handle high‑level mechanical, control, and electrical diagnostics on both scheduled projects and complex service overhauls.

• Blueprint Execution: Read and execute blueprints, piping schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications with precision.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure every job meets strict local codes, safety guidelines, and our internal standard of clean, high‑grade craftsmanship.

• On‑Site Leadership: Guide junior installers on site, coordinate with facility directors, and represent Glacier HVAC/R with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Journeyman HVAC License preferred (or equivalent proven master‑level field experience).

• Experience: 3 years of hands‑on commercial HVAC/R installation and service experience.
