Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must have current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training.
• 1–5 years of experience in chiller/HVAC maintenance or related fields.
• Electrical knowledge required; EPA Certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to train junior technicians.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Ability to work in diverse, challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of all applied equipment with direction but limited supervision.
• Assist with depot maintenance and testing of applied equipment.
• Assist with depot cleaning and inventory.
• Troubleshoot low suction pressure and high discharge pressure.
• Install and commission cooling towers.
• Perform refrigerant leak checks on applied equipment.
• Complete log sheets on all installed equipment.
• Perform condenser coil cleaning on trailer mounted chillers.
• Perform tube maintenance on water-cooled chillers.
• Navigate chiller control panels to collect data.
