Job summary

Tom's Team is seeking a Commercial (HVAC) Installation Helper to assist in installing and maintaining HVAC systems on commercial projects. You will prepare sites, organize materials, and ensure tools are ready for efficient workflow, supporting skilled technicians and following safety protocols.

The role requires physical stamina, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work outdoors. Prior HVAC or construction exposure is preferred to help ensure timely, safe project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• EPA required.
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians in installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems.

• Load and unload HVAC components and supplies at job sites safely and efficiently.

• Support the team by carrying out physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and positioning HVAC units.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily activities and report any issues.
• Help in measuring, cutting, and fitting ductwork and piping under supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:
