Job summary

Talent Pros Recruiting Specialists is hiring a full-time Commercial HVAC Field Tech for our Phoenix, AZ service center. You will work in the field with daily local travel in a company vehicle, with potential overtime and weekend work, and occasional travel.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, and oil-free air compressors, troubleshoot issues, and operate equipment on customer sites or at the shop, alone or with teammates.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Ability to read and understand schematics.
• TWIC card or valid DOT medical card may be required.
• Ability to move or lift objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and at customer locations and perform repairs.
• Operate equipment at the shop or on customer sites, solo or with other technicians.

Job Summary:

You will be based out of our Phoenix, AZ service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.

You will have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is the potential for travel.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, and/or oil free air compressors.

Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.

You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.

Requirements:

4-6 years of experience working on Commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs

Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.

Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card

Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
