tdgFacilities in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Commercial HVAC Field Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, boilers/chillers, and AHUs.

This full-time role follows a typical 7:30am-4:30pm schedule, Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call responsibilities in a team rotation. A strong problem-solving ability and experience with installations across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing are desirable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Do you have experience in performing preventative, corrective and general maintenance? Ideal candidates have experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, boilers/chillers, fan systems, and refrigeration units. This role requires excellent problem‑solving skills, as well as a broad range of skills in corrective, preventative, and routine repair/maintenance procedures. The successful candidate will also possess experience with commercial equipment installation, which may include HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A COMMERCIAL HVAC FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

• Maintain/Diagnose/Repair commercial HVAC Systems
• Assist with commercial HVAC unit installations
• Work on commercial HVAC equipment (experience with boilers/chillers, RTUs, AHUs, MHUs a plus)
• Safely utilize equipment following appropriate protocols and procedures
• Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance tasks, and equipment installations
• Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Participate in client meetings when required
• Utilize mobile technology for efficient communication and real-time reporting
• Actively interface with a work order management system
• Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC systems
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications For Commercial Hvac Field Service Technician

• 2+ years of HVAC experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for detail
• Highly organized and able to self-manage and perform essential tasks to the highest standard
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
