Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician

S&K Building Services is expanding across the nation and seeking a Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician. As a High Rise Technician, you'll support our clients at high-rise levels using a rope descent system. We offer opportunities for advancement, training, and promotion from within.

This position supports our main branch & Headquarters at 4801 Industrial Pkwy, Indianapolis, IN 46226.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows and glass surfaces effectively using non-abrasive tools
• Safely access high-rise buildings via rope descent system to clean windows
• Communicate with site contacts before, during, and after work; obtain customer approval
• Transport, set up, and break down water-fed poles for cleaning multi-story building windows
• Clean up after each job to ensure no residue remains
• Maintain the company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, stocked, and well-maintained
• Attend weekly safety meetings

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in safely working on high-rise buildings
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to work and job sites
• Professional appearance and adherence to dress code
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Ability to scale and work from ladders 5ft to 40ft high (safety training provided)
• Work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions
• Strong time-management skills
• High ethical standards and teamwork skills
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or authorization to use Rope Descent Systems (RDS)
• SPRAT certification
• Bilingual in English & Spanish
