Qualifications

• Proven experience as a glazing estimator across storefronts, curtain wall, and related systems.
• In-depth data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
• Strong math ability and analytical mindset.
• Proficient in GDS, Procore and CM Software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Thoroughness, reliability and organization.
• Understanding NOA requirements for impact glazing.
• Ability to cultivate client/vendor relationships and drive growth.
• Self-discipline with leadership to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and determine key variables for cost estimates.
• Gather information from sites and vendors and analyze data.
• Research labor costs, materials, and production times.
• Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Review offers and quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with vendors and engineers.
• Provide planning input on schedules and manpower needs.
• Read and interpret architectural blueprints.
