Apple Door Systems in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Commercial Garage Door Technician to install and maintain overhead/garage door products, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance in a dynamic field service role.

The position requires 3+ years of commercial door experience, a valid driver's license, and a reliable means of transportation to the base office. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Commercial Overhead/Garage Door experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.
• Must have dependable, reliable transportation to and from your base office location.

Responsibilities

• Install Overhead/Garage Door Products per manufacturer specifications.
• Basic diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance services.
• Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.
• Maintain a safe, Secure and Healthy Work Environment.

Summary

In the role of Commercial Garage Door Technician, you will assume a pivotal responsibility in the maintenance and repair of Overhead/Garage Doors, Dock Equipment, Automatic Pedestrian doors, and related systems.

Duties

• Install Overhead/Garage Door Products per manufacturer specifications
• Basic diagnostics and troubleshooting

Requirements

• 3+ years of Commercial Overhead/Garage Door experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding, OSHA 10, first aid, and/or CPR certification(s)
• Basic Knowledge of Construction and Hand Tools
