Job description

Join our team as a Commercial Furniture Installer and help transform office spaces with precision and care. This full-time role involves assembling and installing various types of office furniture, including products from Knoll, Steelcase, and HON. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install office furniture according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading furniture from trucks.
• Follow detailed floor plans and layout drawings to ensure proper furniture placement.
• Perform indoor demolition and removal of existing systems when necessary.
• Track progress and maintain excellence in workmanship and customer service.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 50 lbs) frequently.
• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to handle tools and small parts.

Required Skillsets:

• Confidence in using power tools and own tools.
• Self-motivated with a strong understanding of teamwork.
• Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong commitment to customer service and safety.
• Problem-solving skills to address issues in the field.
• Must have reliable transportation and a cell phone or tablet with data service.

Hours:

• Full-time position with 8-12 hour shifts.
• Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM, with potential for weekend work and overtime.
