Qualifications

• CDL Class B required; clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• 1 year commercial driving experience preferred; waste industry a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-load trucks to service commercial routes as assigned.
• Pick up and empty waste or recycling containers per route schedule.
• Inspect truck daily; complete required pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure containers are returned with lids closed and area clean.
• Communicate issues to dispatch or route supervisor (blocked containers, unsafe conditions).
• Follow all safety policies and regulations.
• Report mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck.
• Provide courteous customer service at all times.

Job Title: Commercial Front Load Driver
Reports To: Route Supervisor or Operations Manager
Job Type: Full-Time Pay: Starting at $340.00 per day, based on experience

Position Summary: The Front Load Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a front-load refuse truck to service commercial customers. This includes the collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste, as well as the maintenance of recycling containers, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate front-load trucks to service commercial routes as assigned.
• Pick up and empty waste or recycling containers in accordance with the route schedule.
• Inspect truck daily to ensure proper equipment operation and complete required pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure containers are returned to proper location with lids closed and surrounding area clean.
• Communicate with dispatch or route supervisors regarding any issues (blocked containers, unsafe conditions, etc.).
• Follow all company, local, state, and federal safety policies and regulations.
• Report mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck.
• Provide courteous and respectful customer service at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) – Class B (Class A preferred)
• Clean driving record with the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience preferred (waste industry a plus)
