The Specialized Recruiting group is hiring a Commercial Flooring Project Coordinator for a flooring and tile company in Charlotte.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Commercial Flooring Project Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing and facilitating the successful execution of commercial flooring and tile projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, project coordination expertise, and a strong understanding of the commercial flooring industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Help our Sales and Project Management teams develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with all internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to schedule and execute project tasks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, working closely with them to establish and maintain project integrity from estimation to completion.
• Address and resolve any project-related concerns or challenges with the proper people.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project correspondence throughout entire project timeline.
• Identify and address cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within the commercial flooring industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience:

• Construction Project coordination: 2 years (Required)
• Commercial construction: 2 years (Required)
• ProCore or related software: 1 year (Preferred)
