Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors in grocery store areas and vestibules.
• Clean around counters, checkout stands, shelves, displays, gondolas, and obstructions.
• Remove gum, stickers, dirt, and foreign substances from floors.
• Operate an automatic floor scrubber on various surfaces.
• Hand-mop areas not reachable by scrubber and perform spot cleaning.
• Burnish floors with a propane burnisher when required.
• Vacuum entry mats and carpet tiles; empty trash and restrooms.
