Job summary

Bill Knight Automotive Group seeks a skilled automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of makes and models in a service-focused environment.

Responsibilities include documenting work per standards, communicating with service advisors, and conducting multi-point inspections while staying current with manufacturer procedures and maintaining a safe, organized shop.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic required; dealership experience preferred.
  • OEM certifications (Ford, Lincoln, Volvo, or Mitsubishi) or ASE certifications preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Must provide personal tools appropriate for skill level.

  • Assist other technicians and team members as needed to promote teamwork and efficiency.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and dealership policies and procedures.
