Responsibilities

• Deliver beer to distribution centers and pick up packaging supplies on return trip while driving a commercial truck safely.
• Receive weekly schedule and perform deliveries as assigned.
• Adjust delivery routes and times based on distributor needs.
• Load pallets of empty kegs using electric stand-up or sit-down lift.
• Maintain current electronic or paper logs.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete vehicle inspection reports.
• Clean truck interior and wash windows as needed.
• Assist Truck Shop with equipment maintenance and repair; manage inventory and CMMS data entry.
• Assist Warehouse with forklift operations to move finished goods and raw materials.

Get to Know This Role

The Commercial Fleet Driver & Operations Support is a versatile team member responsible for safely transporting products and material to distributors and company locations while providing operational support across multiple departments. This position performs local delivery routes approximately 2–3 days per week or as needed (determined by business need) and spends the remaining time supporting site operations in areas such as the truck shop, rail spur, warehouse, and other assigned work locations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and adaptable, with the ability to transition between driving responsibilities and hands-on operational tasks as business needs require.

What You Will Do

• Deliver beer to distribution centers and pick up packaging supplies on return trip while driving commercial truck in a safe, defensive, and courteous manner
• Receive weekly schedule and make deliveries as assigned
• Adjust delivery route and times based on distributor schedule as needed
• Load pallets of empty kegs onto truck with electric stand-up or sit-down lift
• Keep electronic or paper log current
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; complete vehicle inspection report
• Clean truck interior & wash truck windows as needed
• Truck Shop assist – equipment maintenance and repair (forklifts, forklift batteries, trucks, trailers, farm equipment) Inventory control, record keeping, CMMS data entry (Asset Essentials)
• Warehouse assist – utilize forklift to move Finished goods, Raw material and packaging material. Stacking and placing in racks.
  

• 5 years Commercial driving experience required and
• Experience using electric pallet jacks and forklifts preferred
• Knowledge of D.O.T. rules and regulations
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety rules
• Ability to effectively work in team environment
• Ability to work independently or with little supervision
• Ability to understand and abide by all state and federal laws
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, safety rules, company policies and communications
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Commercial Driver's License with an exemplary driving record free of any major violations within the last three years upon hire required
• Forklift Certification within 30 Days required
