Position Overview

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a Part-Time Commercial Fire Door Inspector to lead our Compliance Program, ensuring code-compliant solutions for our customers’ door needs.

A Typical Day May Include

1. Completing inspection forms on a tablet based on codes and standards.
2. Submitting reports of findings.
3. Attaching QR code stickers and taking photos of openings and deficiencies.
4. Uploading inspection data daily.
5. Making adjustments or installing products to ensure compliance.
6. Maintaining a safe work environment and cleaning the job site after work.
7. Completing and submitting job tickets and timesheets accurately and timely.
8. Updating inspection records post-repair.
9. Travel as required.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone, and other devices.
• Experience with commercial building codes is a plus.
• Experience with commercial doors, frames, and hardware is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work around temperature extremes, heights, and safety hazards.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, stand for long periods, and climb stairs.
