Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking an associate for its national commercial finance practice, based in Minneapolis with a hybrid schedule. You will represent lenders and borrowers in complex financing, draft and close syndicated and portfolio deals, and advise on secured transactions with emphasis on UCC Article 9 and bankruptcy issues.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and an active bar license in the applicable office location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial finance or secured transactions experience
• Strong working knowledge of UCC Article 9 and bankruptcy code
• Transactional experience with syndicated or portfolio finance deals
• Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and analytical skills
• Active bar license in PA, AZ, or MN depending on office location
• Experience with workouts, restructuring, M&A, or private equity is a plus

Location
