Job summary

MCR Safety Group, a Bunzl division, seeks a Commercial Finance Analyst to back the sales and finance teams by managing customer programs, rebates, allowances and discounts, and validating payments. You will analyze sales performance and contract compliance to ensure pricing integrity across the business.

Responsibilities include developing financial models, presenting results monthly to management, and creating ad-hoc dashboards to support budgeting and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; accounting/finance concentration preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Finance or related field required.
• Strong Excel and modeling skills; ability to interpret customer agreements for payment accuracy.

Job description

MCR Safety Group, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst. The Commercial Finance Analyst will support the commercial organization and perform functions specific to the Sales and Finance departments, along with the entire business organization. This position will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and validating all aspects of customer programs, including rebates, allowances and discounts. The Analyst will perform detailed sales analysis to evaluate customer compliance and review performance against contractual objectives and goals. The individual in this position must be able to understand and interpret customer agreements for payment accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Present opportunities using fiscal impact models to sales management and business leaders
• Organize plans, develop detailed tasks and timelines, and manage delivery against schedules for assigned projects
• Validate payments to customers
• Maintain financial models and tracking reports relating to all rebate program elements, including base, growth, volume, pricing, allowances (ex. freight, defective)
• Communicate rebate results and details to both sales management and account leaders
• Develop ad-hoc analytical models to support budgeting, strategic initiatives, and other financial and non-financial data when necessary
• Present results and projections monthly, quarterly, and annual to sales management and account leaders
• Develop, track and report meaningful financial metrics to support data driven business decisions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required; a concentration in Accounting/Finance preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in Finance or related field is required
• Must demonstrate a working intermediate knowledge of software including Microsoft Office
• Self-starter with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytic and modeling skills

MCR Safety TN annual salary range for this opportunity is $68,000 - $73,000, based on education, experience, and geographical location.
