Qualifications

• Experience estimating commercial construction, civil/site work, fencing, guardrail, gates, or related scopes is preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and perform quantity takeoffs accurately.
• Familiarity with bid packages, RFIs, and contracts is desirable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for fence and guardrail projects.
• Review drawings and specifications to determine complete scope of work.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, subcontractor costs.
• Apply production rates, pricing, and installation requirements; obtain supplier quotes.
• Identify risks and scope gaps; prepare clear proposal scopes and exclusions.
• Communicate scope and assumptions to project teams; support bid deadlines.
