What We Do

The primary responsibility is to fulfill Commercial Evaluation Reports requested through the system. Analysts utilize algorithms and analyze results from commercial databases to find comparable sales, analyze similar sales, and prepare comparisons using qualitative analysis to form market value opinions. They complete searches for three comparable sales, analyze various factors, and make recommendations or conclusions. Assistance from more experienced team members varies by task complexity. Work is reviewed before submission to the lender.

What You'll Do

1. Analyze property characteristics from Assessor's websites or phone inquiries; input data into reports, check for errors, and determine if additional info is needed.
2. Conduct searches for comparable sales; estimate market value using the Sales Comparison Approach, with possible assistance from senior analysts or leads.
3. Analyze data from databases (e.g., CoStar, Loopnet), including deed types, transaction types, property use, etc., with assistance from senior analysts or managers.
4. Recommend adjustments for condition, quality, age, sale date, etc., often with help from leads.
5. Recommend weighting for comparables to support value estimates for review.
6. With guidance, complete income approach or land evaluations.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-5 years of experience in real estate, preferably with a real estate/lender or appraisal firm
• Understanding of fundamental commercial evaluation concepts and procedures
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Salary Range: $22.80 - $30.38 Hourly

This range is an estimate at the time of posting and depends on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
