What We Do

Our primary responsibility is to fulfill Commercial Evaluation Reports requested through our system. Analysts utilize algorithms and analyze results from commercial databases to find comparable sales, analyze similar sales, and prepare comparisons through qualitative analysis to assess market value. They are expected to complete searches for three comparable sales, analyze various factors, and make recommendations or conclusions, with guidance from more experienced team members as needed. Work is reviewed before submission to the lender.

What You'll Do

1. Analyze property characteristics from assessor websites or direct contact; input data into reports, check for errors, and identify additional information needs.
2. Conduct comparable sales searches; estimate market value using the Sales Comparison Approach, with possible assistance from senior analysts or leads.
3. Analyze additional data from databases like CoStar, Loopnet, etc., including deed types, transaction types, and property uses, with support from senior staff as needed.
4. Recommend adjustments for factors such as condition, quality, age, sale date, etc., often with help from leads.
5. Determine weights for comparables to produce a value estimate for review.
6. Assist with income approach and land evaluation with significant guidance.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-5 years of experience in real estate, preferably with a real estate/lender or appraisal firm
• Understanding of fundamental commercial evaluation concepts and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Salary Range: $22.80 - $30.38 Hourly

This range is an estimate of the base pay at posting time, influenced by experience, skills, location, and business needs.
