Job summary

First American in Indianapolis seeks a Commercial Escrow Officer to establish new escrow accounts and process documents per policy, enabling next-generation commercial real estate solutions. You will work to grow the business and provide outstanding service to buyers, sellers, and lenders.

The role requires 2-4 years of escrow experience in Commercial, strong communication, and the ability to navigate underwriting and regulatory requirements while leveraging technology and teamwork to exceed

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of escrow related experience in Commercial.
• Professional and positive attitude toward customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• May require escrow officer certification depending on state.
• Comfortable with technology and proprietary programs; quick to learn new software.
• Team player who collaborates to exceed customer expectations.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Grow and service the business by delivering outstanding customer service.
• Complete commercial escrow transactions and coordinate between buyer, seller, and lender.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to monitor and mitigate risk.
• Ensure funds are properly accounted for and disbursed per contract.
• Close transactions by reviewing, filing documents, preparing closing statements and title.
• Prepare regular escrow reports for involved parties.
• Prepare legal documents for closure of sale.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements.
