Job summary

CLEAResult in Louisiana is hiring an entry-level Commercial Energy Auditor to join our field team. You will travel within central to northern Louisiana to perform on-site energy audits, install efficiency measures, and document inspections and customer interactions in our program system.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, customer engagement, and collaboration with technicians and contractors. You will receive on-the-job training, a company vehicle, and support to grow in energy efficiency

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring on-site fieldwork and training.
• Experience in construction, facility maintenance or installation preferred.
• Customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct entry-level energy audits for commercial properties.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…

to join our team as an entry level Commercial Energy Auditor! You will be in a customer-facing role meeting with commercial and industrial business owners and operators to install energy efficiency measures, conduct energy efficiency audits, pre- and post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory.

Successful candidates will reside in or around central to northern Louisiana; including as far north as Monroe, LA for frequent travel within the territory.

• Conduct entry-level commercial energy audits for small and mid-sized facilities
• Engage directly with customers and contractors to explain program offerings, encourage participation, and address basic questions
• Accurately document inspections, installations, and customer interactions in accordance with program requirements
• Perform on-site installation of energy efficiency measures, including physical labor and use of basic tools
• Identify, troubleshoot, and elevate basic technical or installation issues to program staff asneeded

Type of Work

• Primary work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8AM-5PM Central Time (may vary depending on customer and site-specific requirement)
• This is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers
• This is an entry level manual labor position with provided on-the-job training

Driving

• Are at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or require driving on behalf of the company.Individuals provided a conditional offer of employmentfor this position must successfully pass apost-offer, pre-employmentdrug testand consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver’s license,andindividuals provided a conditional offer of employment mustsuccessfully pass adrugtest and maintain a clean driving recordas an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
