D&L Electric Company, Inc is seeking a Commercial Electrical Apprentice to join the Power & Controls team in Houston. You’ll work alongside Journeymen and Foremen, gaining hands-on field experience while ensuring NEC standards and safe practices on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Apprentice Electrician License required.
• Valid Driver's License with dependable transportation.
• Possession of basic personal hand tools for electrical work.
• Ability to work from ladders and MEWPs at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Install underground PVC conduit per NEC guidelines.
• Measure, bend, and run EMT conduit with proper fittings.
• Route, push, and pull fish tapes and wire feeders across circuits.
• Install commercial devices, switches, receptacles, and low-voltage lighting components.
• Terminate power equipment, main panels, and disconnect switches.
• Support high-elevation work on ladders and MEWPs up to 40 feet or higher.
