Resource Options, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrician with 5+ years of commercial electrical experience in New Jersey. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial systems across new construction, renovations, and tenant fit-outs.

You will read drawings, bend EMT and conduit, install wiring, and coordinate with foremen and project leads. A valid set of hand tools and reliable transportation are required; OT may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Ability to bend EMT conduit (offsets, 90s, saddles).
• Strong understanding of NEC requirements and safety standards.
• Reliable transportation and your own electrical hand tools.
• Willingness to work full-time with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems.
• Perform commercial rough-in and trim-out: lighting, switches, panels, and fixtures.
• Pull and install wire, MC/BX cable, feeders, and low-voltage cabling.
• Bend, cut, and install EMT conduit for lighting circuits, branch circuits, and equipment feeds.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, plans, and system layouts.
• Work safely and efficiently in active commercial environments, including new construction, renovations, and tenant fit-outs.
• Assist foremen with layout, task planning, and material management.
• Use hand and power tools properly for cutting, bending, terminating, and installing electrical components.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, teammates, and project leads.

Pay Range: $26.00/hr. - $33.00/hr.
