Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvements across Southern California.

The candidate should have strong conduit installation, wiring, and panel work experience on commercial sites. This role requires traveling to multiple job sites, occasional overnight shifts, and the ability to read blueprints while coordinating with foremen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years in commercial construction.
• Ability to commute to various job sites throughout Southern California.
• Willingness to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, walk, squat and climb stairs.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling ( EMT, PVC, MC, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, Romex).
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components per specs and codes.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, and control equipment.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical installations and system malfunctions; perform HVAC motor control wiring if needed.
• Assist with Ansul system installations if required.
• Read blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to meet schedules.
• May perform other jobsite duties as directed by foreman.

We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages of construction throughout California.

Schedule

• Requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctionsPerform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman

Requirements
