Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, adaptable, and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our electrical team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and service commercial and industrial electrical systems while interpreting engineering plans and wiring diagrams to ensure precise, high-quality execution on every job site.

Our electrical division works across commercial and industrial facilities, handling everything from conduit runs and power distribution to equipment terminations and system troubleshooting. Responsibilities and Expectations

• Assist with and execute the installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of commercial and industrial electrical systems and equipment.


• Bend, run, and install conduit, pull wire, and complete clean, code-compliant electrical terminations.


• Read, interpret, and follow engineering plans, blueprints, and schematic wiring diagrams accurately.


• Create accurate as-built drawings based on actual field installations to ensure proper job documentation.


• Maintain direct, professional communication with facility managers, general contractors, and office dispatch personnel.


• Build positive rapport with commercial clients, providing exceptional customer service and clear project updates.


• Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, local electrical codes, and OSHA guidelines on all project sites.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on commercial and industrial electrical experience.


• Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, conduit bending, wiring, terminations, and electrical troubleshooting.


• Ability to think independently, analyze complex field issues, and manage multiple job priorities effectively.


• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills with a proven ability to build client rapport.


• Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (MVR) and willingness to undergo standard pre-employment background checks and drug testing.
