Job summary

Backbay Commercial Electric LLC is seeking experienced commercial electricians to join our team and serve Lee, Hendry, and Collier counties. Three years as a lead electrician, ability to install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, and PLC proficiency are required.

Applicants must read blueprints and interpret schematics, ensure NEC compliance, and work safely on construction sites with other trades. A valid US driver’s license is required for on-site work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years prior experience as a lead electrician.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Ability to work with PLCs to ensure automated system functionality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings for installation procedures.

Backbay Commercial Electric LLC is looking for experienced commercial electricians to add to our team! We are a local electrical contractor doing work in Lee, Hendry, & Collier County.

What we are looking for:

• Three years prior experience as a lead electrician.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper functionality of automated systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting on electrical equipment and systems using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
• Strong understanding of high voltage systems and low voltage applications.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols.
• A valid drivers license with authority to work in the US.
