Job summary

Backbay Commercial Electric LLC is seeking experienced commercial electricians to join our team and serve Lee, Hendry, and Collier counties. Three years as a lead electrician, ability to install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, and PLC proficiency are required.

Applicants must read blueprints and interpret schematics, ensure NEC compliance, and work safely on construction sites with other trades. A valid US driver’s license is required for on-site work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Three years prior experience as a lead electrician.
Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings.
Ability to work with PLCs to ensure automated system functionality.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings for installation procedures.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
Ensure NEC compliance during installations and repairs.
Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems with tools like ohmmeters and power tools.
