Collier Electrical Corp is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our Field Operations team in Connecticut. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on commercial and industrial sites with travel to job locations using company vans.

Ideal candidates have an E-1 or E-2 license, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and a strong work ethic. We emphasize safety, reliability, and teamwork while supporting professional growth and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut E-1 or E-2 electrical license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check in compliance with laws.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on commercial and industrial projects.
• Work with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute installations accurately.
• Collaborate with journeymen and apprentices to complete work on time and to code.
• Maintain safety standards at all times, using PPE and OSHA/compliance guidelines.
• Use personal hand tools and company-provided equipment as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams.
• Complete daily logs and provide updates on project status.
