Job summary

Renu Energy Solutions in Charlotte, NC, seeks a licensed electrical supervisor to lead field installations for PV, BESS, and EVSE. You will troubleshoot on-site issues, ensure safety, and drive quality while coordinating with fellow trades and site constraints.

The ideal candidate has an Unlimited NC electrical license, 4+ years of commercial experience, and the ability to mentor a small crew. Travel to multiple sites and occasional office coordination are expected.

Qualifications

• Active NC electrical license (Unlimited preferred).
• 4+ years commercial electrical installation experience; solar/BESS/EVSE experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead a small crew when needed.
• Comfortable with inspection interactions and punch list closeout.

Our Commercial Division is seeking a licensed, field-driven leader who executes and troubleshoots installations, supports commissioning efforts, and leads by example. This role enhances field quality, minimizes rework, and provides experienced support and depth under the Electrical Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical installation tasks for PV, BESS, and EVSE projects; ensure clean, code-compliant workmanship.
• Interpret plans and one-lines; coordinate layout and conduit routing with other trades and site constraints.
• Troubleshoot field issues quickly (control wiring, CTs, communications, inverter/battery interconnects).
• Support material planning by validating quantities in the field and reporting shortages early.
• Mentor technicians; teach correct methods and enforce safety/quality standards.

Requirements

• Active NC electrical license (Unlimited preferred).
• 4+ years commercial electrical installation experience; solar/BESS/EVSE experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead a small crew when needed.

Travel and schedule:
