Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Electrical Superintendent I to join our Idaho team. You will oversee projects from award to completion, manage 20+ crew members, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Strong customer service and electrical construction background are required. Qualifications include Utah Journeyman license, 7+ years of installation experience, and OSHA/NFPA certifications.

Qualifications

• Seven plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
• Be able to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.
• Have moderate to high-level computer skills including Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift 100lbs.
• Safety training related to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 30 hour, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out, and trade-specific.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from award to final construction.
• Manage crews of 20+ personnel and ensure safety, quality, and production goals.
• Plan and layout project, material take-off, quantities, and tool needs.
• Establish site safety plans and mitigate risks to personnel and equipment.
• Coordinate implementation of installation per drawings and specs.
• Evaluate scope and settle change requests with PMs.
• Plan material, equipment, and labor needs for timely site arrival and departure.
• Monitor progress and provide daily written updates on activities and obstacles.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate trades.
• Communicate with PM and purchasing for material requisitions and delivery schedules.
• Establish prefab project-specific tasks and foster teamwork.
• Demonstrate strong communication and leadership with tact and diplomacy.

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for afull-time LicensedElectrical Superintendent I to join our team.

OurElectrical Superintendent I may oversee the projects from the award of the project to the final construction. The position requires a high level of customer service to build and maintain relationships. Experience with electrical construction background is required.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Have previous successfully supervised projects with crews ranging from 20+ personnel, meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
• Diplomatically manage the crews and provide appropriate training, positive and constructive feedback.
• Plan and layout the project including planned installation materialtake-offquantities and toolneeds basedon the project schedule.
• Establish a site-specific safety plan, evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment to mitigate them.
• Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications.
• Evaluate the contracted scope of work with the PM to determine change requests and schedule effect.
• Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs fortimelyarrival to and from the site.
• Monitor daily progresstotheshort termand long-term schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.
• Conduct and participate in project meetings as needed and provide necessary trade coordination.
• Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.
• Establish and implement prefab project-specific tasks.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) with the ability to be a leader by acknowledging contributions by others.

• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.

• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliancetoscheduled work hours.

• Demonstrates knowledge of the National Electric Code.

• Be a self-starterand bedependable.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
