Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, in New Braunfels, TX, seeks a full-time Electrical Helper to support journeyman electricians.

This on-site role involves assisting with conduit, wiring, and material handling, and working from ladders while following safety policies. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of related experience, the Texas Apprentice Electrical License, a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain it, and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience required.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain Texas Apprentice Electrical License.
• Related experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR check when operating motor vehicles.

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
