Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, is seeking an entry-level Electrical Helper in Chester, Virginia. This full-time role supports commercial electricians with material handling, conduit mounting, and basic wire pulls, under supervision.

Travel may be required and safety policies are emphasized. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain, and be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 6 months or less recent electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

Job Summary

Qualifications

• 6 months or less recent electrical field experience

• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
