BLVD Electric Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking motivated Commercial Electric Apprentices to join our growing team. This role offers hands-on experience alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic commercial environment.

You will learn installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, read blueprints, and develop NEC-compliant workmanship while advancing through an eligible state-approved apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in or eligibility for a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to work in commercial construction environments, including heights and confined spaces.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman and master electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical connections under supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
• Operate hand and power tools relevant to commercial electrical work.
• Participate in on-the-job training and apprenticeship program coursework.
