Job summary

BLVD Electric Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman in Los Angeles, CA to lead crews on major projects. You will supervise daily site activities, read and implement blueprints and schematics, and ensure all work meets NEC codes and safety standards.

You will mentor apprentices and journeymen, coordinate material procurement, and communicate progress with project managers. A California Journeyman license and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with supervisory responsibilities
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics and electrical drawings
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and California regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Proven track record of mentoring apprentices and journeymen

• Manage material procurement, tool inventory, and job site logistics
• Communicate project progress, scheduling, and issues to project managers
• Mentor and train apprentice and journeyman electricians
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure work meets project specifications

Requirements:

• Valid California Journeyman Electrician license required
• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and California electrical regulations
• Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a crew in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
