Solid Rock Recruiting- The #1 Drywall Recruiting Firm in the USA is seeking a Commercial Drywall Estimator in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on detailed takeoffs and competitive bids for commercial interior projects, working with general contractors and internal teams.

You will use On-Screen Takeoff and QuickBid daily, read drawings and specs, and coordinate pricing with vendors. The candidate should have 3+ years in drywall estimating and knowledge of Phoenix market dynamics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings.
• Proficient in OST and QuickBid.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Local Phoenix market knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed takeoffs and proposals for commercial drywall, framing, and acoustical ceiling projects.
• Utilize OST and QuickBid software daily for estimating and budgeting.
• Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Request and manage pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist in bid day preparation and submit competitive, clearly defined bids.
• Coordinate with project management and field teams to ensure scope alignment.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks, as needed.

About the Role:

A leading commercial interior contractor in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Commercial Drywall Estimator to join its growing team. Specializing in metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, and acoustical ceiling systems, this firm works on high-end, fast-paced projects across healthcare, education, hospitality, and commercial sectors.

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth through accurate, competitive bids and collaboration with general contractors and internal teams. If you're a self-starter with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience in estimating commercial interior scopes - this is the place to thrive.

• Perform detailed takeoffs and proposals for commercial drywall, framing, and acoustical ceiling projects
