Job summary

USAM in Manassas, VA is seeking a full-time delivery driver/loader/unloader to ensure on-time delivery of high-end millwork and casework. You will load the truck and deliver to job sites, keeping operations organized and safe.

Ideal candidates communicate well, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record (DOT if required), and can lift 75+ pounds repeatedly. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to specific job sites in a timely manner.
• Load and unload products; ensure loads meet delivery requirements.
• Pack/wrap finished products and load the truck when necessary.
• Unload goods at the job site and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Follow safety requirements for loading/unloading and fuel/refuel as needed.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

USAM, a high-end architectural millwork firm is looking for a delivery driver/ loader/unloader in Manassas, VA. As a full-time driver/loader, you’ll ensure smooth, on time delivery of high-end millwork & casework.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure materials loaded match delivery requirements
• Deliver goods to specific job sites in a timely manner
• Package/Wrap finished products and load truck when necessary
• Unload goods at the job site
• Adhere to and follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product
• Always keep vehicle organized and clean. Refuel as needed and advise Supervisor of anything problematic (low tire pressure, dents, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Professional Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers, be dependable and hardworking
• Must have current/valid driver’s license with good driving record and possess DOT or ability to obtain.

Physical Requirements

• Must be physically fit and able to lift 75+ pounds, repeatedly

Preferences

• Experience operating a forklift preferred
