Job summary

Postal Delivery Systems is a growing US Mail hauler providing dependable mail transportation services for the United States Postal Service. We are seeking experienced Commercial Drivers (class A preferred) to safely and efficiently transport USPS mail between local postal facilities originated in Eugene, OR while maintaining strict compliance with USPS, DOT, and company regulations.

Flexible availability is required with shifts seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, DOT drug testing and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles (Box Truck) to transport USPS mail and equipment.
• Load, unload, and secure mail per USPS procedures.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and comply with USPS security requirements.

Job SummaryPostal Delivery Systems is a growing US Mail hauler providing dependable mail transportation services for the United States Postal Service. We are seeking experienced Commercial Drivers (class A preferred) to safely and efficiently transport USPS mail between local postal facilities originated in Eugene, OR while maintaining strict compliance with USPS, DOT, and company regulations.Flexible availability is required. Shifts available 7 days a week. This position does not qualify for overtime pay.ResponsibilitiesOperate commercial vehicles (Box Truck) to transport USPS mail and equipmentLoad, unload, and secure mail in accordance with USPS proceduresMaintain chain-of-custody and comply with all USPS security requirementsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tractor and trailer)Accurately complete driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentationProperly use and remain compliant with the DOT-mandated Electronic Logging Device (ELD) application at all timesMaintain assigned schedules and meet delivery deadlinesCommunicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and USPS personnelComply with all DOT regulations and company safety policiesMaintain a professional appearance and clean equipmentValid Commercial License (Class A preferred)Must be 25 years of age or olderMinimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experiencePostal Experience preferredAbility to pass background check, MVR review by insurance, DOT drug testing and DOT physical examination.Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial motor vehicleAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.Ability to climb in and out of trucks safelyAbility to secure loads using ratchet straps, load bars, or other securement devices.Ability to bend, stop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead,Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
