Job summary

American Specialized Holdings Corp is seeking a Class A CDL driver to safely operate a truck on a regional Oregon route. You will be responsible for transporting finished goods, inspecting vehicles, planning routes, and maintaining logs with ELDs.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of CDL driving experience, a clean safety record, and strong customer service skills. This role offers a Monday–Friday night/overnight shift with home daily and occasional holidays.

Qualifications

• Established CDL driver with valid license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• No recent moving or driving violations within 1 year
• Ability to be flexible, drive long hours, and travel regularly
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Safely transport finished goods and consumer materials over land to and from manufacturing plants, warehouses, or retail and distribution centers.
• Inspect tractors/commercial truck for mechanical items, safety issues, and perform preventative & routine maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery scheduling and appointments on time.
• Use of ELD/Electronic Logbook to document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with FMCSA/DOT commercial truck driving rules and regulations (logbooks, size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading or unloading positions
• Report defects, accidents and/or violations to supervisor
• Communicate effectively and positively with customers and staff
• Regional Oregon route

• Inspect tractors/commercial truck for mechanical items, safety issues, and perform preventative & routine maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery scheduling and appointments on time
• Use of ELD/Electronic Logbook to document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
