Door Works, Inc. in Hillsborough, NJ is hiring an experienced Commercial Overhead Door Technician to join our team onsite. You will install, service, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of commercial and industrial door systems, while upholding safety standards and professional customer service.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, read work orders, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers, maintaining tools and documenting work with precision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial doors, loading dock equipment, or similar mechanical trades.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in industrial environments.
• Ability to work independently on installs and service calls.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial overhead doors, rolling steel doors, sectional doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers, and truck restraints.
• Diagnose issues, perform troubleshooting, and complete repairs independently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) on commercial equipment.
• Read work orders and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service truck in good condition.
• Document work performed with accuracy and attention to detail.
