The role focuses on providing products and services to customers, promoting long-term retention, and coordinating with the internal customer service team to ensure satisfaction.

As a Commercial Door Service Advisor/Estimator, you will identify opportunities, prepare cost estimates for new construction

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as work instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively and interact with team members and leadership.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in a situation.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience in field service, sales, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide products and services to Customers and promote long-term customer retention.
• Follow up on leads and generate new opportunities, seeking new business.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader and Service Manager to achieve sales goals.
• Follow up on all pending service quotes within a set time frame.
• Provide technical training to Service Technicians.
• Manage and order shop and truck materials as needed.
• Assist in customer job scheduling and project management.
• Build relationships with customers and key accounts; promote Vortex positively.
• Identify construction projects and initiate contact to gather information and present our services.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for new construction projects and meet bid deadlines.
• Present and explain the benefits of our services to potential clients and close sales.
• Maintain detailed CRM records of sales activities and pipeline progress.
