Delaware County Supply in Boothwyn, PA is seeking an experienced Commercial Door & Hardware Operations Manager to lead the Hollow Metal Door & Hardware Department. You will drive day-to-day operations, oversee bidding, purchasing, and project workflows while mentoring a skilled team.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep knowledge of hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural hardware, and a commitment to on-time, profitable delivery and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware is required.
• Experience reviewing construction documents, drawings, specs, and hardware schedules.
• Strong knowledge of Division 8 products and applications.
• Experience with bidding, estimating, project coordination, purchasing, and material management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Commercial Hollow Metal Door & Hardware Department.
• Oversee bidding, estimates, quotations, and project workflows.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, door schedules, and hardware schedules.
• Manage purchasing, material ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate projects from award through completion.
• Collaborate with our custom hollow metal shop to ensure production efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Train and mentor team members to raise department performance.
• Improve processes and ensure profitable project delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Hollow Metal Door & Hardware Department
• Oversee commercial bidding, estimates, quotations, and project workflows
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, door schedules, and hardware schedules
• Manage purchasing, material ordering, and supplier relationships
• Coordinate commercial projects from award through completion
• Monitor budgets, schedules, deliveries, and change ordersProvide technical expertise on commercial doors, frames, and hardware applications
• Work directly with contractors, architects, vendors, and customers
• Collaborate with our custom hollow metal shop to ensure efficient production workflow, quality standards, scheduling, and on-time delivery
• Train, mentor, and support team members while sharing industry knowledge
• Improve processes, efficiency, and overall department performance
• Ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and profitably

What You Bring

• Extensive experience with commercial hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural hardware
• Experience reviewing commercial construction documents, drawings, specifications, and hardware schedules
• Strong knowledge of Division 8 products and applications
• Experience with bidding, estimating, project coordination, purchasing, and material management
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Direct commercial hollow metal door, frame, and architectural hardware experience is required.
