Job summary

Delaware County Supply Company, Inc. in Boothwyn, PA seeks an experienced Commercial Door & Hardware Operations Manager to lead our Hollow Metal Door & Hardware Department. This hands-on leadership role requires extensive knowledge and oversight of purchasing, project coordination, and supplier relationships.

You will guide a team, review plans, and drive department performance, customer satisfaction, and future growth within a long-standing, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with commercial hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural hardware.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and hardware schedules.
• Strong knowledge of Division 8 products and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Hollow Metal Door & Hardware Department.
• Oversee commercial bidding, estimates, quotations, and project workflows.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, door schedules, and hardware schedules.
• Manage purchasing, material ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate commercial projects from award through completion.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, deliveries, and change orders.
• Provide technical expertise on commercial doors, frames, and hardware applications.
• Work directly with contractors, architects, vendors, and customers.
• Collaborate with our custom hollow metal shop to ensure efficient production workflow, quality standards, scheduling, and on-time delivery.
• Train, mentor, and support team members while sharing industry knowledge.
• Improve processes, efficiency, and overall department performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and profitably.

What You'll Do

Important

Direct commercial hollow metal door, frame, and architectural hardware experience is required.

This position is not intended for candidates whose experience is limited to residential doors, general construction, or unrelated building products.
