Job summary

Card-Monroe Corp. is looking for a Commercial Dock & Door Technician to install, maintain, and repair industrial dock equipment and overhead door systems. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, field independence, and a commitment to safety, with travel to customer sites.

The position supports a field-based workload, including routine maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency service after-hours. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50+ lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience as a commercial dock and door technician or similar field role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead doors, dock levelers, seals/shelters, restraints, gates, and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and determine corrective actions.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance following guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve emergency service issues promptly.
• Complete service tickets and documentation using mobile software.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
