Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Illinois) seeks a detail-oriented professional to support a busy deal lifecycle in our Chicago area office. You will coordinate end-to-end documentation, assist with deal execution for newly issued securities, and liaise with syndicate banks and internal teams.

Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a regulated environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field.
• 2+ years Financial Services experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking ability to prioritize high-volume tasks and track multiple moving parts.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with capital markets, deal origination workflows, high volume transaction settlements, regulatory compliance tools and Bloomberg is a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of Outlook and Excel spreadsheet software.
• Ability to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform business support and analytical duties for managers and staff.
• Act as liaison among the LOB leader, product team, and internal and external partners for Commercial transactions.
• Provide deal execution support for newly issued securities.
• Manage the end-to-end documentation process and maintain Excel trackers for deal pipelines and communications.
• Handle administrative, logistical and regulatory workflow correspondence.
• Resolve logistical bottlenecks, process delays and compliance issues.
• Coordinate back-office deal lifecycle, including tracking newly issued securities and processing initial and final settlement and accounting.
• Coordinate with internal deal teams, syndicate and operations groups for deal approval, execution and reporting.
• Conduct call-back verifications for syndicate members and coordinate approval workflows.
• Liaise with syndicate banks regarding fee allocations, expenses, receivables and payables.
• Coordinate deal-related wires with syndicate banks and accounting and resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with accounting on daily reporting and reserve requirements.
• Assist with internal reporting, expense tracking, deal maintenance and CRM setup.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
