Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes loan data and financial information on new, renewal and existing loans, including data from credit bureaus and Bank files.
• Prepares Credit Memo/Underwriting for commercial credit, remote deposit capture, and ACH customers.
• Prepares spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions for Bank Officers on loans.
• Assigns risk ratings to each borrower of the bank.
• Provides technical support to loan officers as needed.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

The Commercial Credit Underwriter is responsible for analyzing financial data and assessing creditworthiness of commercial clients. This role completes the underwriting of loan requests and extensions of credit to business clients of the Bank as well as financial analysis with customers in the loan portfolio.

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 per year and is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
